Upload images

Once you are signed up, you will be able to upload pictures. Click on the “Upload Photos” link.

Use the “Browse” button to select the photos from your computer and click on the “UPLOAD” button at the bottom of the page. If you make your images public, every one can see them.

Once the pictures are on Flickr’s server, you will we asked for more details about the photo. Fill in the “Title” and a short “Description” of the photo. “Tags” are descriptive keywords that you can add to your pictures. All this information makes it easier for others to find your photos. Also, you need not type this information now. You can add or change the title, description and the tags any time in the future.

The saved photos show up in the list of your photos. Click on the picture to see a bigger version of the image.

Uploading Tools

You may want to upload several pictures at the same time. It is tedious to upload them one by one so Flickr provides some uploading tools on their website.

Mac users can also download a plug-in for iPhoto. Once you have installed this plugin you can send pictures to Flckr from your iPhoto application
